Ages: 8-15 years old

We will introduce communal storytelling where the characters can react in their own ways to difficulties, work with others to come to a consensus and deal with unintended consequences in a space safe for exploring each participant's imagination and creativity.
One group will be guided by Erik Cheski, who has been playing Dungeons and Dragons for over 20 years and running games professionally for the last 5 years.The second group will be guided by Jennifer DeValue, a longtime English tutor, board
game editor, social media coordinator, and Game Master with a passion for inspiring self-expression.
Ages: 12-16 years old
When: Fridays, 3:15 - 5 pm
Design, build, and code a fully functioning robot and participate in the Robotics First Tech Challenge

The club will be guided by
Peter Girgis, an engineer and scientist with 15 years of experience in the MedTech, Pharma, and Healthcare industries.
Peter is leading key initiatives in the Women’s Health and Cancer space at Becton Dickinson (BD), and before that worked as a neuroscientist at Mount Sinai Medical Center and Kessler Rehabilitation Center, specializing in research for Multiple Sclerosis, TBI, and Alzheimer’s.
Peter holds a Bachelor's in Biomedical Engineering from Rutgers University and a Master's in Biomedical Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology.
Photography
Ages: 8-14 years old
When: Wednesdays, 4:10 - 5:00 pm
We will explore the wonders of photography and learn how to take amazing photos with our cameras or smartphones. We will learn about light, colors, compositions, portraits, emotions, and memories and develop creative thinking skills.
The club will be guided by
Noam Ekhaus, a fashion, portrait, and fine art photographer and a creative director with over 10 years of experience. Noam graduated with an MS in Neuroscience and Education at Columbia University and has taught photography, storytelling, and neuroscience.

“Yogi journey” class is filled with poses, games, songs, stories, imaginative play, and activities that engage children and give them the tools to feel stronger, calmer, happier, and more peaceful inside thru meditation.
We will start the yoga journey through learning about yoga poses, working with breath, mindfulness and playing to find balance.
The club will be guided by Shira Vinik, a yoga and pilates instructor for almost a decade. Shira guides people to find their self inner light and looking to plant the yogi seeds in the little ones.
Ages: 8 -15 years old
When: Tuesdays, 4:10 - 5:00 pm
We will introduce basic chords, song forms, and melodies through contemporary pop-rock music. At the end of the session the students will hold a performance. No previous music experience or playing an instrument is required.
The club will be guided by Michelle Gorman, a full time musician and a private music teacher with 10 years of teaching experience. Michelle is proficient on guitar, piano, bass guitar, vocal, and percussion instruction, and most recently directed performances at School of Rock Cresskill.
Magic Tricks
Ages: 8-14 years old
When: Thursdays, 4:10 - 5 pm
In every meeting, we will see magic tricks and reveal their secrets. We will prepare magic tricks and learn how to perform them in front of an audience. The club will be guided by
Greg Winick, a professional magician
who has been running
magic classes for years.

We will explore different types of ceramic vessels through hand-building and fun techniques for creating with clay. The club will be guided by Corrine McConville, a working artists with a Bachelors in Studio Art and a Masters in art education. When Corrine is not teaching art classes you can find her in her art studio in Garnerville, NY.
Ages: 6-9 years old

Ages: 10-14 years old

We will get to know the wonders of the Chinese language and culture through play and interactive learning. The club is targeted at non-native speakers and aims to get learners excited about Chinese culture, history, and language.
The club will be guided by Jessie Lee, a native speaker originally from Singapore, who has experience teaching Chinese in elementary schools in Singapore. Jessie graduated with an MBA from the Wharton School and has worked with young kids and college students in sports, language, and entrepreneurship.

The kids will play, explore, connect, and have endless fun with games they create. The game-creation process sparks creativity, initiative, encourages teamwork and cooperation.
The club will be guided by Bell Telem Goudsmit, an educator with a degree in physical education and the founder of B SmART 'n Play.
The clubs are in-person at the AABC school, 300 High St. Closter, NJ (online option is unavailable).
The current session runs between April 29th and July 1st, 2024.

The cost is $25 per meeting, and the payment is for a session in advance.
Clubs will open with a minimum number of students. Spots are limited, so hurry and sign up.
